We Believe

We Believe

Our Vision:

We are called to love God, love neighbor, and make disciples.

Matthew 22:37-39 & Matthew 28:19-20

Who is Christ?

Christ is God. (See “The Trinity”)

We beleive

    • He was born of a virgin
    • He lived a sinless life
    • He performed miracles
    • He died to pay for our sins
    • His death, and the blood He shed, makes us right with God
    • Three days after His death, he was physically resurrected
    • He then ascended to the right hand of the Father
    • He will one day return in power and glory

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God.
He is eternally existent in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

He is:

    • infinite in wisdom
    • infinite in goodness
    • infinite in love
The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is present in ministry today.

His full power lives inside each Christian and enables them to live a godly life in this sinful world.

The Bible

We believe the Bible:

    • consists of the Old and New Testaments
    • is inspired
    • is inerrant
    • is infallible
    • is authoritative
    • is the only Word of God
Salvation

Without God all people are lost, sinful, and in need of Christ’s salvation.

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential to salvation.

The Resurrection of Man

After a person’s death:

We believe in the resurrection of the saved:

  • people who believed in Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection will be resurrected to life

We believe in the resurrection of the lost:

  • people who did not believe in Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection will be resurrected to damnation
Spiritual Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.

Covenant

Acknowledging that we belong not to ourselves but to Jesus Christ, who for our sins died and rose again from the dead, we bind ourselves with those of like faith.

That together, we might by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, worship and serve Him.

We live to the praise of His glory, looking forward to His return.
